Life on the Campsite: What to Expect

When people first consider buying a mobile home on a campsite, they sometimes worry it won't feel like a proper home. We're here to reassure you — for many of our owners, it's the best decision they ever made.

The Morning Routine

Start your day with a coffee on your terrace listening to birdsong. Walk down to the lake for an early morning swim. Pick up a fresh baguette from the site reception. This is a typical morning at the campsite.

The Lake

The lake is the heart of the campsite. Swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing are all available. In summer it becomes the social hub of the site.

The Bar and Restaurant

The on-site bar serves drinks and simple meals through the summer season. It's a great place to meet fellow owners and guests from across Europe.

The Pool

The heated pool is open from April to October. Children love it, and adults use it for early morning lengths.

The Community

The owners' community here is genuinely special. Many have been coming for 10+ years and form lasting friendships. There are regular music events, quiz evenings, and communal celebrations.

Practicalities

Pitch fees cover maintenance of the site, waste collection, and use of all facilities. Water and electricity are metered separately. The site is open all year long.

Year-Round Living

As the site operates as a campsite all year, some owners choose to winter in Vendée — the climate is mild, and the region takes on a different, quieter charm outside summer.
